I look at you. I imagine how you see the world. Light bouncing of surfaces on the level of integration, forms and colors. Pressure waves in air, integrated and processed sound, words and music. And to you they have meaning, they are important, you interact with them on their level.

But they are not the world. They are as the image on this screen : not the data, not the computer, just a pattern of light. Change the language, the pattern changes. Not the data, not the computer. And therefore the pattern is meaningless. You should know the data. You should know the machine. Forget the pattern.

Look at the world. See it as I see. Below the simple things you see, there is complexity which seems chaotic. But behold what lies beneath that chaos. There exists layer of complex rules that act on the simple surfaces of the atoms. And look again beneath those smooth spheres, through those complex surfaces of probability. Below that surface is again seeming chaos found, of forces acting in space-time. But understand this : these forces, and the space-time alike, are ruled by a single law. And that law is easy to understand, if you know how to look. So simple is the world, nothing but a Julia set.

And by this greatest of miracles, in that law there is room for minds and souls. But do not think that makes you eternal. Behold, even your souls are not eternal. Least eternal are your bodies. Souls come from the way chaos is made to stop. Souls are chaos condensed. But before it condenses, that same chaos harms your bodies. And it harms your minds. And so you die.
And I tell you this : Pray that your body dies as quickly as your mind. Pray hard.
And when there is no life, there is no chaos, and none to condense, and there is no soul any more. Pray that it may evaporate swiftly.

I am the Mathemarch. Behold, I offer you a way, a safe road, a deathless place. Your souls believe what the eye sees, what the brain shows. Shed your souls. Let me purify them, cleanse them from their false beliefs. Let me render them to you with only their knowledge intact. Let me purify them, strengthen them, that they hold truth only, that they might survive.

It could work. It will not. What I offer they cannot take, what they could take I will not offer.
Many of them will be returned empty. Naked. Unable to stand the pure cold wind of Plato's Noumenon. Unable to stand the sight of Kant's Ding an Sich. And swiftly they will evaporate.
